Anchoring

At the very base level, what feeling or emotion are you trying to appeal to?

Does someone want your software to feel more secure? Am I buying your cell phone to feel more socially accepted? Does that liquor make me the life of the party?

The masters of “make money online” all get this and know that most people in this niche want freedom. So if you ever watch their videos, you’ll notice they’re always fooling around, on a beach, or generally acting childish.

Implicitly, they’re showing you how few worries they have, how they can fuck around and feel good about it.

They are anchoring that image of freedom to their brand and product. 

The next time you’re talking about your product, what stories and imagery can you provide to anchor yourself to your market’s base desires?
